This is just GREAT.  

First off, I'm pleased to announce that sequential systems got me my 
ramFAST cache and updated SS ROM in less than 1 week!  Kudos to them.

Of course, my RamFAST is STILL reporting the same 01 error, even with the 
new cache.  I have no choice but to send the whole thing in now.  I'm 
trying very hard right now to not scream obcenities, but it's quite 
difficult, considering that I'm VERY behind in all my work I have on the 
GS hard drive.

Question... What should happen when I power up a GS with a RamFAST 
plugged in slot 7, but nothing attached to the ramFAST?  I mean, no 
ribbon cable, nothin.  Would it crash into an error, or would the boot 
process just continue to the next slot?

What about powering up without any cache ram chips in place?  crash or skip?

Thanks for any help.  I could really use it right now.  >:(
