RamKeeper ?'s
Hiya, all! Just got meself a RamKeeper and it has one little quirk...
I have an AE GSRAM Ultra (4 megs) and an Apple GS Expansion (1 meg) in
the Keeper, but when I boot the system I get the following errors:
1) Please install the AppleDrive3.5 driver.
2) Volume /bootvol may be bad
3) Error $00E1 [or something] in FST's
and another Return reboots.
So trying to narrow it down: DMA is set Off because I have two cards,
as the RamFast manual suggests. I've checked the jumpers on the Apple
card and they're both there. I have the cards in their proper places
(Apple behind, GSRAM in the SlotMover). And oddly enough the system
will boot with the GSRAM in the SlotMover (here I am now), with the
Apple card in the SlotMover, and with the Apple card behind (just to
make sure it wasn't the back port). It just won't work with both!!!
Suggestions? Help????? When I boot from 3.5" floppy (boot slot set to
5 instead of Scan) the system does indeed acknowledge I have 5.25 megs
when I have both cards in the RamKeeper, so what am I missing here? Why
won't my hard drive boot properly with the full memory to hard drive?
