   I never said that "you were superior," I said that you _FEEL_
superior.  Where? Right in the section you quoted above. If you're
going to quote me to try and flame back, please make sure that you
bothered to read and comprehend what I said. Otherwise, it makes it
look like you're out for a few cheap flames, not an intelligent
discussion.

   And as to why I said you feel superior to the author is this: you
disagree with my restricting distribution from _your_ machines, and
you said earlier in this thread that you'd allow it to be posted
there. You further said it might take a lawsuit to try and pry it off
the 1wsw site had Charles Turley decided to keep it there. In
disregarding that authors's rights as less than that of yours, as the
maintainers, you are sure putting on an air of superiority.

   Gone. I never had anything as much as page, just a few references
like the Apple II Languages FAQ and a list of GEnie topics. A few
quick greps for 'metal' 'future' and 'fv' isolated both places where
it was referenced. [Lycos didn't think much of any references to your
programs either-- looks like someone else took that name for an
interactive TV company and some MOD music file]

   Get used to it. Other releases soon from others may start sporting
that line. Programmers have rights, and we might as well start
exercising them. Your feelings on the action mean absolutely nothing.
Freeware means "I am letting you use this program for free," nothing
more. It is still copy_right_ed, allowing the author to do what they
want with distribution limits. Had it been public domain, then you'd
have a case.
