Well, the SCSI version of the LS-120 drive is not available yet. It =

depends on Compaq good will.

This drive is capable of reading MFM encoded disks (1.44 MB, 720K) as =

well. ProDOS 3.5' disks are GCR encoded, hence the 800K size. Although =

this is a laser servo-based system, the drive won't read 21 MB =

flopticals either. Richard Bennett wrote a Floptical driver for the =

Apple SCSI board. He was wondering if he could add 800K disk support. =

This format is available on Insite drive but the sector size is 1024 =

bytes, not 512 bytes. I wonder if this capability is available on the =

new LS-120 drive. Perhaps R. Bennett could write a new driver for the =

LS-120 when it is available as a SCSI drive.
