Re: Video7 Success
Actually, I found the needed information in this group via a Google
search. Here it is again.
The card I have says Amdek along the top and Video7 in the bottom
left. There is a keyed, 2-pin header near the top, middle. Pin 1 goes
to the right side of R34. Pin 2 goes to the left side of R7. R34 is
found in the front, left corner of the motherboard. R7 is found in the
back, right corner. The Video7 card goes in slot 7. I'm using it in my
IIe. I guess it should also work in a II+, assuming you could find the
equivalent points on the motherboard.
I realize that this card is TTL RGB and I am only getting 8 of the 16
colors, driving an analog RGB monitor (GS). I may add the R2R ladder
mod to get the full 16 colors. Also, I'll be testing this card with a
CGA monitor from a PC and maybe an old multisync. This may require
inverting the sync pulses.
