Zip drive, Ramfast, and Finder

Had a curious problem yesterday. Decided it was about time I actually put
some files on my Zip drive, so I installed Hypercard on a Zip volume using
the Finder to move files. Alas, when I was finished, Hypercard would not
boot, giving me a $110A error. Did a file comparison between the original
floppy and the copy on the Zip disk, and they were NOT identical. Booted
Hypercard from the floppy, and tried to locate the home stack on the Zip.
Also negative.

Reloaded everything to the Zip from the disks using Prosel GS; everything
works fine.

Does the Finder have some compatibility problems with the Ramfast cache?
The bad Hypercard executable appeared to have some blocks of data in it
that belonged elsewhere.
