This was an error, Daniel Pfarrer has nothing to do with the project.
It's all explained in the April A2 GenieLamp, apparently there was a
mix-up somehow (Daniel is not even a programmer).

Yes, the documentation has been updated (where necessary) and
includes a history list of changes for each version. Version 2.1
added launching image files over a network I believe.

Done, I've posted it up to the binaries. I'll upload a copy to
the Caltech FTP site as well, though it'll take a few days before
it's moved out of '/incoming'.
