Even with lynx, the images are still viewable... you just have to download
them first to your computer.  An extra step or two, that's all.

If the images are all .GIFs, then it's VERY easy, because there are very
nice GIF viewers for the II series.  JPEGs make it more difficult.
<shrug> oh well.
