     The Koala Pad is kind of a neat device; but, a mouse is much more
reliable and easier to use. (You can use the Koala paint program just fine
with a good joystick.)

     Get the Enhanced upgrade, a mouse card, and a mouse.

     For good painter performance, look for the IIe/IIc version of 816
Paint and/or Dazzle Draw.  

     For good IIe sound get a stereo MockingBoard.

     For neat IIe double-hires show-off games, get King's Quest and Wind
Walker.
