My Apple IIgs ROM 01 (purchased in late 87, arrived January 88) came
shipped with System 1.0, which included MouseDesk 2.0. I've bought a
handful of used systems in my area, all had the same diskette included,
at least those originally purchased between 1986 and early 1988. Perhaps
it has to do more with my location (Canada) as to what System Software
was included in the box.
FYI: The actual diskette is merely labeled "MouseDesk(tm) 2.0"
with the words "Apple II" in a black square area above it. The
back states "ProDOS, (c)1986 Version Soft - Z680-5025", yet no where
is 'System Disk' or 'System Sofware' mentioned on the label. The
version of ProDOS 16 and Tools match what was included in System 1.0.
I never had System 1.1 or 2.0, I jumped from 1.0->3.2 a few weeks
after using my IIgs. Your most likely correct though, MouseDesk
replaced Apple II Desktop in System 1.1 (not 2.0).
