As you may know, the game is supposed to be played with copies of the
diskettes. This is because diskette maze information is modified during
play. If someone inserted an original diskette during an update, some
important items might be misplaced or absent for a later player who used
the diskette.
If someone were to insert the _wrong_ original during a level change,
the original could be overwritten with 'weird maze' info. When this
happens, the player can wind up wandering outside of the maze or between
maze walls.
What causes you to believe an original may be messed up? Is there
some particular piece of information which would help you decide?
