There is no such thing, you must mean the original Mac 128
or Mac 512. These have a built-in display and there is no
direct or simple way to use it on an Apple IIgs, apart from
disassembling the Macintosh and building some form of complex
video adapter. I'm not even sure if this is possible, it depends
on the vertical and horizontal scanning frequency, as well as
the maximum resolution size of the display.
On the Macintosh, it is 512x342 with 1-bit monochrome (pixels
are either on or off, no in between values), you would need it
to do 320/640x200 with 4-bit greyscale. Assuming this were even
possible, you'd then have to build a case for the CRT or dedicate
the Mac as one (a CRT has high voltages, you don't want it exposed).
A much better idea, if all you want is a small monochrome display
for the IIgs, is to purchase an Apple IIc monitor. It is the same
size as the Mac screen (9") and connects directly to the GS's NTSC
video out port. If you go into the Control Panel's 'Display' option,
setting 'Type:' to "Monochrome" will show GS graphics in 16 shades of
green on the IIc display. The IIc screen also matches the styling of
the IIgs as well, expect it is snow-white rather than platinum-grey. :)
