Used the Ram checker off the claris appleworks disk.
It came up good with the 2 pass 20 min check.
I think there may be some sort of trashing blocks on the disk when
I push through to prodos 2.0.3 from 6.0.1.
I have write protected the disk and there's a write error leaving
gs/os and going into prodos( after the prodos 2.0.3 screen)
before booting up davex.
gonna check the file size of 2.0.3 then try and find another copy.
Saw a post on one of the news groups with the file size, so half my
work is done (8
Still does not explain the CHECKERBOARD.
but does stop the disk trashing.
thanks for the help.
