The closest thing to a port of Stellar 7 (for the IIgs) would
be FTA's "Oil Landers" game. Unfortunately, it was among the batch
of in-progress/uncompleted software that the group handed over to
Joe Kohn back in late-1991. I recall it was playable, but not quite
complete. It should still be available on most FTP sites.

Defender of the World, being written by David Ong Tat-Wee, was
still not finished last I heard. I've been beta testing an early
version, all that it lacks are more levels and perhaps some more
original/professional looking graphics (I might consider helping
with the latter if the project is still alive, now that I've fixed
my AppleColor RGB :). It's a fantastic game, definitely the best
shoot-em-up side scroller I've played on an Apple II, so I hope it's
eventually completed. There's a freeware demo version available on
FTP sites, but it doesn't begin compare with the alpha version (the
animation and gameplay are about equal to SuperNintendo/Genesis IMHO).
