: : No. a //e with a 'C02 is not necessarily "enhanced". the enhancement
: : kit also includes a new Monitor ROM and a new Character Generator ROM,
: : in addition to a 65C02.
: : the simple addition of the 65C02 should make all the software run, however.
: : It just won't necessarily look right... lots of inverse uppercase letters.
: Would anyone happen to know, then, how to tell an enhanced //e from
: a mere //e with a 65c02, from software?
Let me make my request clearer, since I got emails telling me to watch
the startup screen.
Is it possible, FROM SOFTWARE, to tell if the machine is enhanced with,
for example, the Video ROMs (Mousetext), and then have the program
adjust its output accordingly?
