Jobs might have got the GUI from Xerox (according to "The Triumpth
of the Nerds" Xerox executives didn't believe the GUI was the wave
of the future, thought it was a flop, and invited Jobs to take a
look over the protestations of their programmers! The truth is more
like Xerox gave it away than Jobs stealing it.)
Compare that to Windows 95. The interface is virtually identical to
that of OS/2. OS/2's interface was always better than Windows' (and
closer to the Apple GUI).
They didn't steal from Apple, they stole from IBM.

You Windows people wear blinders. At least we Apple users are open
minded enough to see the merits in all kinds of different operating
systems. You have an IBM compat, you like the functionality of
Windows 95, but you could have had the same interface four years
earlier in OS/2! Internally, OS/2 is still more powerful than
Win 95.
GUI fame
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Apple (GS/Mac) ease of use; GS version w/real "plug & play"
OS/2 multitask/power, Apple-like interface, has FSTs
Win 3.1 poor attempt to compete with Apple's ease
of use - Microsoft drops "windows" in favor
of folders and desktop in Win 95.
Win 95 a rip off of OS/2, less stable, less power,
yucky-DOS file system wastes disk space
