It's a HyperSTUDIO stack... not HyperCARD. <grin>
Roger Wagner still has his company support forum on AOL, so you can
check there to see if HyperStudio Mac can translate HyperStudio IIgs
stacks.
Larry :)
gbmaidsf@wco.com <Charles T. 'Dr. Tom' Turley> replies:
HyperStudio Mac (HS-Mac) can translate and convert the HyperStudioGS
(HS-GS) stacks with no problems at all. So, yes you could use HS-Mac
and convert any HS-GS to a HS-Mac stack. You can even convert a HS-Mac
stack to a HS-PC stack or the other way back to a HS-Mac stack.
Rober Wagner sent me a copy (with the CD) of HyperStudio Mac, for some
development work and research efforts - to try an design a HyperStudio
Mac to GS stack converter. I don't know if such a converter will ever
be developed to fully support such a conversion of the Mac & PC
HyperStudio stacks to HyperStudio GS stacks - but, our 1WSW team is
working on it, for release as a freeware. I'd really like to
see such a converter developed - as the amount of really nice HS stacks
for both Mac and PC, being produced should have the abilities to be
converted for use with HyperStudio GS. After all, HyperStudio GS was
the first of the line.
Cheers,
Tom
