Hot-melt glue is an interesting solution... until you consider that it
turns liquid and loses it's adhesive properties when it gets too warm.

Have you ever stuck your hand inside a computer case after a few hours of
use?  Surprise... all that power turns into heat.  It might not quite be
enough to MELT the hot-melt, but definitely enough to soften it...
possibly causing the motherboard to slip.  I wouldn't trust _MY_
motherboard to a setup like that... i'd much rather go for a duct-tape
approach.
