Info on Basis 108

I recently came across a very odd computer system.  At first look
it appeared to be just another PC clone, but on closer inspection
I noticed it had U-sci drives and when I opened it up, I noticed 
it had a board similar to an Apple ][ +.  Is this computer a 
an Apple clone?  Any information would be appreciated.  Thanks.
