Get rid of the ProDOS File System extension and get PC Exchange.
If I remember right (someone please correct me if I'm wrong), The ProDOS
Extension always attaches a resource fork to the file. ProDOS 8 can't
handle files with resource forks and thus you get the error. I recommend
PC Exchange, because I've never had a problem with it.

You don't happen to have a copy of Shrinkit GS do you? It can
handle the shk archives fine even if they do have resource forks (It's a
GS/OS app). Good luck...
