If Tiger comes out with a IIe-compat. "toy" what will that mean for us?

I'm just putting the question out there. After reading dr. tom's rumor
column at http://www.wco.com/~3d5d1wsw/gsezine/GS.WorldView/*ARTICLES/
 
I got to thinking: If a IIe compat. computer that hooks up to a t.v.
and uses cartridges rather than floppy disks arrives on the market,
how will this benefit me as a IIgs user (non-programmer)???
Just asking.
I like being unique. Don't need some 1980 t.v. game/computer making my
IIgs look like a "toy."  (However, if a really good cartridge comes out,
could a cartridge port be made for the II?)
