There was some discussion about the Fireball and the RamFast a while
ago. I don't recall anyone being able to get it to work. My theory
was that it requires that the host provide its SCSI ID, and the
RamFast doesn't have one. It should work fine with an Apple SCSI card.

It might, because it is a slightly older design. I would expect that
all Quantum drives newer than the Fireball would have the same
problem.
I am currently using a TrailBlazer 850 on an Apple High-Speed SCSI
card (and I've also used it on the original Apple card), but that
doesn't answer your question...
