There is no command in BASIC.SYSTEM which goes back one directory
level. You have to enter the whole pathname again starting with the
root directory.
I would hope that most people avoid the use of BASIC.SYSTEM if they
want to do anything like browsing through the contents of a volume
with lots of subdirectories. It is generally much easier to use an
interactive utility program, even something as ugly as System
Utilities.
