OK, the big ones are:
	apple2.caltech.edu
	apple2.archive.umich.edu
	wuarchive.wustl.edu /systems/apple2
	ftp.ms.uky.edu
	ground.isca.uiowa.edu

I, personally, have never been able to find things at brown,
and nodak, has not had apple2 stuff for quite a while.

I know I have a copy of this huge list, and I know it has been
posted.  Would anyone like to try to accomplish the enormous
task of updating the list to reflect what sites actually still
DO exist?

Another site which we've lost, which is a great loss, is
ftp.gno.org, which used to contain lots of gno executables,
and contains stuff now only for IBM & Mac.
