The LaserWriter is normally accessed via AppleTalk, so the Installer
will give you the AppleTalk drivers as well as the LaserWriter driver.

It is possible to connect to the early LaserWriter models using a
serial connection, as far as I know.

There is another other trick you can pull with the LaserWriter driver,
which allows you to generate PostScript files on disk.

Choose the LaserWriter using the "DC Printer" control panel. When you
are ready to print, hold down Apple-F while clicking on the "Print"
button (keep the keys down until you get a confirmation message from
the driver). This creates a file in the *:System:Drivers folder that
contains the PostScript output. I can't remember the filename, but I
think it includes the word "PostScript" and a count.
