Whew, I bearly remember this game, but I do remember spending a
year or two trying to complete it (when I was in high school). If I
remember right Hythloth was the dungeon on the island to the South East.
You can't move the boulders, but I believe that there are rooms towards
the bottom that you enter where you have to fight serpents or dragons.
These rooms may appear to be dead-ends at first, but if you have a
projectile weapon (Magic Axe a must!!!), try hitting the walls across the
room that are unreachable by your party. There are "triggers" the open of
bridges and stuff. Again, I'm not really sure if these exist in Hythloth,
but they definitely exist in the final dungeon.
Good Luck, Ultima V: Warriors of Destiny is (IMHO) one of the
best games ever made. It was fast paced and the graphics were decent (for
a II). Besides, the new ultimas are just eye candy. They're fun, but not
as fun as the older ones.
