   What? Macs and PCs can certainly recognize it as a HD and write stuff
to disks just like any other HD. On the Apple II side, many people have
reported success using them with their systems (you may need to upgrade
your RamFAST's ROM to at least 3.00l).

   If you're talking about it as some form of 'boot disk,' that's
probably very possible. My Floptical drive was the only disk on my
system >800K for a few months following the death of my 40MB HD, and I
booted my system off it. Just give the drive the highest SCSI ID on
the chain (usually 6) and go from there.
