   You didn't quite say which version of the OS you're running-- DOS
3.3 or ProDOS. ProDOS puts up a screen at boot identifying itself as
such; DOS 3.3 doesn't do anything by default. In either case, you can
drop by my Apple II Resources' General questions page and take a look
