        I agree, adding a MIDI compatible keyboard makes synthLAB all the
more interesting. I especially like the way key positions light up as the
musical sequence is played, by watching it carefully, I was able to learn
part of Bach's 'Tocca & Fugue in D Minor' (I can play the first five minutes
or so, from memorizing the key positions synthLAB displayed; I never even
took piano lessons :). I also enjoy using the keyboard to control synthLAB
itself, there's some great sounding instrument patches available, quite
often better sounding than what inexpensive MIDI keyboards have built-in.
In essence, synthLAB can turn the IIgs into a fantasic sounding music
synthesizer when a keyboard is connected!

        My only dislikes are the lack of space to load in instrument
patches (64K) and the seven-voice note limit, although the latter
doesn't affect live-input too much, unless your a professional piano
player. Or using synthLAB for playback of MIDI files of course...
