MEET MARK TWAIN
On Saturday, June 15, 1996 at 10AM, the GravenStein Apple User Group
will be hosting a fund raising event...a demo/showing of the Mark
Twain Prototype IIGS computer. Admission for non-GravenStein members
will be $5.
The event will be held at The Trinity Community Church, located at
1675 Grand Ave, San Rafael, California.
San Rafael, located in beautiful Marin County, is the home of two
well known Apple II organizations - Shareware Solutions II and Marin
MacroWorks - as well as such lesser known organizations as The
Grateful Dead, LucasFilms and Industrial Light & Magic. San Rafael is
located 12 miles north of the Golden Gate Bridge.
If you are coming from the South, take 101 North and get off at the
Central San Rafael exit. Make your first right, and then make your
first left onto Grand Avenue. Continue on Grand a mile or so, and
several blocks past Dominican College, you'll see a sign for the
church on the left.
If you are coming from the North, get off 101 at the Lincoln Ave
exit. Turn left onto Lincoln, and after going about 1/4 mile, you'll
see a left hand turn lane which is located right in front of the
"Famous Deli/Mart." Turn left onto Linden Lane, go under the freeway,
and make a right onto Grand Ave. The church is the first building
you'll see on the right; pull into the parking lot.
