I've got a Ramkeeper an it used to works about a year ago. I took it out
because of the continuous crashes, thinking that was why. But am getting
the External ibm power supply soon. I'd like to use this again and get up
to 8 meg(I've already got 4 meg). Well there is a chip or something right
below the green light toward the back of the card with 3 tabs going into
the board and it seems to be black as if it got hot at one time or
another.
        My question is can I replace this piece on the board. I just
tried to use it as before with 4meg + 1 meg and it wouldn't boot. Took
out RamKeeper and put the 4 meg back in and works fine.
        Also is there anyone out there who knows if there is anyway to
upgrade this board for more efficiency?
