Re: The GSAUG June meeting & public showing of the Mark Twain!
Notice to all Usenet Apple II groups and readers:
On several occasions prior to and including 5/28/96 Joe Kohn made a
number of posts - to the CSA2 newsgroups concerning a public invitation
for all Apple II users to attend the June meeting of the GSAUG, for a
presentation to the public of the Mark Twain (Apple IIGS +, ROM 04, etc.
computer).
He last posted on 5/28/96 to CSA2 - that anybody wanting directions,
etc. should email him requesting such, which I did! His email reply
follows.

Subject: Re: (no subject)
You specifically are not invited to attend my presentation. In fact, you
are the reason that I am not posting directions online.
If you show up, I will call the police and ask them to remove you from
the premises.

Now I'd like to ask everybody that reads this to express their feelings
with a public post and/or reply by email to me and/or Joe Kohn - on this
refusal to allow me to attend the GSAUG. What I'd really like to hear
from you; is this specific exclusion of me from this public invitation
of all Apple II users based on any fair, just or reasonable action?
All I want to do is peacefully attend this meeting and public
presentation of the Mark Twain - IIGS prototype, take some detailed
color photos, to digitize them, present them as color gif format files
via my GS WorldView Web site for public viewing and absolutely nothing
more.
I look forward to your post, reply and response to this public request.
Sincerely,
Charles T. 'Dr. Tom' Turley
