i believe that the iic+ has the same 8-pin DIN8 serial port connectors as
the mac, and ergo the IIgs, so if this IS the case, then yes you can.
My ImageWriter I cable was ordered from a supplyhouse as a 'Mac Plus to
Imagewriter I' cable... works perfectly.

Orange Micro used to make a product which did just this... the name of it
escapes me at the moment; several other companies had them available too,
back when i bought my IIgs in 1990.
