Sounds like I've had pretty much the same experience. Mixed luck with HD disks
in a DD drive. Speaking of 5.25" disks, in 16 years I've _never_ had a bad
5.25" disk. I'd guess about 1% of my 3.5's (DS/DD) have had problems.
