On the odd occasion in the past, I've found that reseating all socketed chips and
cards in the system often solves the problem of mysterious crashes. I don't know
if your problems may be some loose connections or not but I thought I'd throw
this into the mix. As for a PC CPU style fan, I'm really not sure how you would
mount it to the TWGS. I think that the 65816 is about the same size as an
80386 but I don't think there are any 386 fans available.
