Otter,
This may sound repetitive, but my news server has expired all the
other messages in this newsgroup, so I don't know what's been asked and
what hasn't been asked. So, here goes - do you have a separate monitor
connected to the PC Transporter? (Or the hardware Soft-switch Applied
Engineering used to sell?) If you don't, then the Apple will appear to
lock up, because the PC Transporter is sending video out it's own
connector.
I usually run something called Start.aepc, but I tried running
aepc.system, and it worked fine. If you are getting the RAM disk under
PRODOS, then the card is probably set up okay. You might try running
PCTRAM.SYSTEM, and see if all of the RAM on your PCT is okay. Also, do
you have a MS-DOS disk in the floppy drive? (Or have you made an MS-DOS
partition on your hard drive?) You might have to hit a shift-caps
lock-caps lock to get to the PCT drivers menu and set up the hard disk
partition. (It's been a while since I set mine up, but I remember I had
to set up this stuff from the PCT's control panel.)
     Good luck!
     Paul
