PC Transporter troubles, Part 2

I just got a Bluedisk card up and running, and have it fully integrated
into my PCT system. A new problem has arisen, when I try and run Windows
3.0. I have a Pep/5 assembler program, small enough to fit on a 1.44 MB
floppy with PLENTY of room to spare. It works under Windows 3.0, using the
PCT. I started writing a program, and after about 5 lines of code, the
computer started beeping at me rather than typing on the screen.
occasionally it would actually type a letter, but most times it just
beeped. I don't think this is caused by my Pep/5 program, but by Windows
itself. It tries to control my keyboard much in the same way as the GS
control panel does (repeat rate, translation, etc.,). Could Windows be
having a conflict with the GS?
     The mouse, under Win 3.0, also does not act quite right. The computer
does not always recognize my quick double click on icons. At first I
thought this was just because the processor was so slow, but when the
keyboard begins beeping, the mouse does too. I have about enough movement
and clicking power from the mouse, after the beeping starts, to eventually
save and shut down windows.
     I have the feeling I will have to buy a PC keyboard to use separately
for the PCT, but I do not have the cable that
plugs into the card, with the DIN 5 keyboard connection on the other end.
If you could help me solve the problem, either by giving me directions on
building the PC keyboard cable, or (preferrably) a way to correct the
problem with the keyboard I already have, I would appreciate it.
