AFAIK there's no way to daisychain any thing off a DuoDisk or a Disk][,
however...
For a while in the past I had a DuoDisk daisychained to a 3.5 disk
drive which was connected to a UDC card. This eliminated the DouDisk
controller but I could only boot off the 3.5 drive (1st drive in the
chain). Prodos allows only two drives per slot but somehow it remaps
the third drive (DuoDisk drive 2) as slot 2, drive 1 so that the 3d
drive can be accessed.
Specificly the 3.5 drive is by AMR and the UDC card is by Laser but
(I think) modified by AMR. Some but not all Laser 3.5 drives are
daisychainable so if you're out there looking for 3.5 drives be sure
to ask if the drive can be chained and if the controller supports
multiple drives.
