Yes, you have to decode them first with a Mac unzipper. There is
a copy of MacGzip on the asimov site in the utilities directory.
Also, Drop Stuff with Expander Enhancer will decode Gzip files if the
.gz file is dropped on Stuffit Expander. As an aside, the new version
(4.0) of DropStuff will now decode tar files.
