"The keyboard was made by Atlanta Photocircuits Co.; its keys are prone to
'stickiness' which slows typing speed. An improved keyboard was
introduced for the Unidisk 3.5 IIc."
I've now come across two different ROM 01 //c's with completely different
keyboards - one "sticky", the other not (the one which isn't sticky is
identical to all later "improved" keyboards). As another note, the sticky
keyboard also has a black latex rubber layer between the keys and board
below (presumably to keep the circuits clean) and upon dissasembly, a
rigid black moulded plastic thing under the keyboard, which looks like it
lends additional support. The improved keyboard has neither (and feels a
lot better).
