Re: Apple <--> PC
Concerning the post, excerpts, etc. noted below, many people have wanted
to be able to find a simple and user-friendly method to convert all the
great Apple II software disk images (found on such ftp disk image and
emulator sites as asimov, etc) back to functional and usable 5.25 disks
to have and use in their Apple II series of computers. Well now you can
have all the conversion utility programs for just such use.
Everything you need is now located in one (simply and user friendly)
folder on GS WorldView. That folder titled: *A2.DISK.IMAGES is
accessable from the following URL.
http://www.wco.com/~3d5d1wsw/gsezine/GS.WorldView/*A2.DISK.IMAGES
This folder contains an html document page, and all the brand new
released programs, with full easy to follow and understand documentation
for these new conversion programs, to allow everybody with an Apple II
and/or Mac to convert all the disk image files back into usuable 5.25
disks and use that software from those disk images as functional
programs in their Apple II series of computers.
Enjoy & Cheers!

i have downloaded a bunch disk images on my pc that i want to use on my
//c, i think i have an idea how to do this, please share your thoughts.
I have a 720k 3.5 inch drive for my //c, so i can format a 720k disk
prodos, stick it in my pc, rawrite.exe a disk image to it and then use
copy II+ to put it on a 5.25 or whatever on the //c. I suppose if i had
a 5.25 drive in my pc i could do the same thing. I havent had a chance
to try this yet, any thoughts?
The disk images came off of ftp.asimov.net and work with the emulator,
im pretty sure they should work as well in the //c.
