Hi,

the best sound card ever made was the FutureSound. It was one of the very first
sound cards. It offers excellent sound quality and various I/O connectors.
The software is terribly slow, though.

Other good cards are AE Audio Animator and SoundMeister. Don't bother with the
SonicBlaster. When digitizing sounds, you're basically digitizing motherboard
and SB noise. :-)
