DeskJet 600 on a GS works

G'day All,
 
           Someone posted a question a while ago as to whether a HP DeskJet
600 inkjet printer would work with a IIGS.
 
Yes, it does.
 
I borrowed one from work.
 
I used an Epson parallel printer card to connect my ROM 3 GS to the
DJ600's parallel printer port (unfortunately the DJ600 only has a singl
parallel printer port) and was able to print from AppleWorks 5.0 using
the normal available supplied printer driver, and printed from a GSOS
program (GraphicWriter III Ver 2.0 <-- get it great!) using the HArmonie
DJ500C printer driver and the Epson parallel printer port driver.
 
Worked like a charm.
