Here's a stupid thought I had, which may have nothing to do with nothing. My
GS does the same thing you describe when I try to use double HiRes and Second
Sight (vertical lines, locks up). It just occurred to me I have my control
panel display setting set to Monochrome which seems to only effect the double
HiRes display when using a color monitor. I wonder if setting it to Color
would solve the problem? I'll try it this evening and find out.
