Aristotle Software Problems

I've got a network of 6 AppleII GS computers linked to a MacII si. I
can't figure out why 3 of the six computers freeze up when they are
looking for the AFP file server, and the rest boot up over the Mac Hard
disk into Aristotle. Also, if there are any Aristotle users out there, I
have some other questions. Can anyone help?
