I have printed postscript files to disk and then downloaded them to my
600 dpi Apple LW Select 360 with no problems with my GS and my Mac.
I do have a problem getting Publish It! 4 to do this (OK, it never works)
but using Desktop programs such as AWGS or GraphicWriter works for me.
In fact, in my latest issue of Apple Blossom, I wrote an article that
discusses manipulating the PS file to get 2-up printing.
That said, it may depend on which printer. The ROMs are different, and
that may have something to do with it. FWIW, I can print fine to this
printer from ProTerm and Appleworks 5.1 (over LocalTalk) without down-
loading the IWEM file, which I _had_ thought was necessary.
