I'm not clear on your problem. Does it lock up, or does it give you SYNTAX
ERRORs? Does this happen immediately at power-on, or does it work
perfectly for a few minutes?
Does it do this with =no= cards installed? If so, then my first thought is
that it may have a bad RAM chip. (Of course, it could be a lot of other
things, also.) One way to check the RAM is to rotate the rows of chips.
If it is just one chip, then the problem should change.
