I am a high school student and one thing is for certain: Althought the school has lots of new PC's/Macs, most of the teachers do all of their 
grade averaging, test making, and just about all their general computing on //e's. In fact, my electronics teacher uses apple //e's for 
interactive quizzes for his students (he did ask me to port his quiz programs to the PC, but that is just so he can have it on more computers 
at once)
