Zip Drives

Here are a few questions I have been building up...

1.  I have a question regarding Zip Drive use w/Apple IIs:
Is there any way I can connect my Zip drive (currently in use on my PC, 
but, as you know, eminently portable) to my Apple IIc+?  How would I get 
it to recognize the drive?

2.  How can I download II software on my PC and use it on my IIc+ (I have 
a 386 laptop w/internal 1.44meg floppy...)?

3.  I would like to use some of my old 5.25" software (my family also has 
an old IIe and a IIgs, so we have quite a bit of software...).  What is 
the most cost-effective drive for mt IIc+?  Can I port over the drive 
from my IIgs?

4.  Last question.  I recently bought (for $1) Merlin 8/16.  What type of 
language is it (I only know AS BASIC and C++/Pascal for PCs), and does 
anybody have the manuals they could sell me?
