GS keyboard: extended or not???

I want to use ProTerm with my ROM 01 IIgs. In the initial config
for the program, the keyboard option indicates that there is >1
type of keyboard for the IIgs. Previously, I've always run PT3.1
from an enhanced //e.

Here are my questions: What's the cosmetic and/or functional differences?
Which one do I have (kbd model #658-4081)?
